No. 18 Rashad Greene, WR, Florida State
Previous ranking: Not ranked.
Making the case for Greene: We made the case for Greene last week, when we broke down his truly stellar touchdown-to-touches ratio and then compared it to the top returning all-purpose receivers in the ACC and the country. Last year, Greene became the first Seminole since Peter Warrick in 1999 to score a rushing, receiving and return touchdown in the same season. He also led the Seminoles with 57 receptions in 14 games played, on a team that had four players with more than 30 catches and seven with more than 20. Florida State does not necessarily have a go-to guy who will get 100 catches. But the Noles have a go-to guy who will make the tough catches at the critical times in a game, while also pitching in on special teams as well.
Greene does not grab a lot of headlines, but there is no question he is the best receiver the Seminoles have going into the season and one of the best receivers in a league that is stacked with them in 2013.
