Skeptics of the ACC can argue the overall strength of the conference, but there's one thing that's tough to dispute -- the entertainment value.

Last week, four ACC games were decided by an average of 4.5 points, with the winners not determined until the final minute of play. The ACC’s 11.61 margin of victory in conference games this year is the smallest conference margin of victory in the nation. In all, 16 of the ACC 's 28 league games have been decided by seven or fewer points with 11 being decided by five points or fewer.

Most of the best games, though, have involved many of the same teams.

Ten great games that come immediately to mind from this season (in no particular order) are:
  • Miami 38, Florida State 34
  • Georgia Tech 30, Clemson 27
  • Clemson 40, Miami 37 (OT)
  • Miami 28, Wake Forest 27
  • Georgia Tech 28, Virginia Tech 23
  • North Carolina 20, Virginia Tech 17
  • Georgia Tech 49, Florida State 44
  • Florida State 45, NC State 42
  • Boston College 28, Florida State 21
  • Boston College 27, Wake Forest 24 (OT)
