HD: Thanks for reading, Jordan. I think Spiller already had a huge game that got him back on the Heisman radar -- against Miami. He's got the nation's attention again, but yes, he needs to keep it up, and a similar performance against FSU would give him a huge boost -- or at least it should. I've had him in my top five Heisman candidates for the past two weeks.
Garrett in Clemson, S.C. writes: Hey Heather,Why is everybody counting out Clemson of winning the ACC championship? All the experts think they will go to the championship but none that I've seen have predicted them to beat Georgia Tech. Clemson's defense has shown they can stop the option and I very much doubt that Georgia Tech will get away with another fake field goal or any other fluke plays. I would at least say it's an even match-up if nothing else. Your thoughts?Garrett
HD: Garrett, if Clemson makes it to the title game, I'm definitely not counting the Tigers out. Not after how close the regular season game was, and not after how well their defense has played this season. Clemson will be looking for its first ACC title since 1991. As of right now, I'm not sure who I'd pick in that game.
Scott in Columbia, S.C. writes: Heather, great blog, read it daily (pretty much hourly) but I was wondering something that you keep hinting at. You keep saying that the ACCCG would be a toss up between Clem-GT if they did get a rematch. Is it because of Clemson's D playing lights out? or because GT's offense is too predictable? Since they already played once and it would be at the end of the season, there aren't many more looks the offense can give without Clemson already know them. I would love this rematch as a clemson fan because of those reasons.
HD: The only reason Georgia Tech's offense has looked "predictable" is because nobody has been able to stop it. So Paul Johnson has been running the same plays over and over again. He's got a lot of options in his playbook, he just hasn't had to use them. No, I think it would be a toss-up because Clemson's defense is outstanding and the Tigers have more to prove, and it would be C.J. Spiller's last chance to get what he came back for -- an ACC title.
Zack in Atlanta writes: Georgia Tech where's white jerseys at home and on the road, but apparently Wake wants to wear white this weekend, so GT has to wear a solid jersey. What is the procedure for jersey choice and why might Wake insist on wearing white for this game?
HD: Jim Grobe actually addressed this on this week's ACC teleconference, saying he stays out of it for the most part and lets the players decide which jerseys they want to wear. He did say, though, that when they travel to warmer states they try to stay away from the darker unis. There was an ACC rule change this year that teams no longer have to wear their white uniforms in games, as long as both teams agree to it, in writing, before the game.

- I don't know who Florida State's next defensive coordinator will be.
- I did not forget the Clemson-Florida State prediction yesterday, I just did it in the video instead of writing it. They were all in the same post. I picked Clemson 35, FSU 17. Sorry if you missed it, but it's there.
- I have nothing to do with who is on what awards list. I only published them for your benefit to see all in once place. The only award I vote for is the Davey O'Brien Award, and I voted for Christian Ponder and Thaddeus Lewis.
- We don't know for sure yet that Clemson is playing Georgia Tech in the ACC championship, but let's go ahead and assume it for the sake of the mailblog.
