Wake Forest quarterback Riley Skinner, who suffered a mild concussion last week against Miami and has practiced sparingly this week, is listed as "probable" on this week's injury report for the Georgia Tech game. Probable means the staff is pretty sure he'll be available for normal duty, and it's better than a 50 percent chance he'll play. Skinner is still awaiting final clearance from team physicians, and that is not expected before Friday morning, according to a school spokesman.

This is good news for the Deacs, and it's good for the game. It should be much more interesting if Wake's offensive leader and top quarterback will be able to play, but I still see the Jackets winning. In order for Skinner to be effective, he has got to be on the field. And with the way Georgia Tech has been controlling the clock lately, Skinner might not have enough time to showcase his best work. Regardless, Wake's chances at an upset increase dramatically with Skinner on the field.
