The NCAA has announced a call for Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. ET to discuss the Committee on Infractions' decision in the Miami case. The NCAA has spent more than two years investigating allegations into improper benefits provided by former booster and convicted felon Nevin Shapiro. Miami officials went before the Committee on Infractions in June to make their case and had hoped for a resolution sometime in August.
The long wait for answers has frustrated both Miami athletic director Blake James and coach Al Golden, along with school officials and fans. Miami already has served a two-year postseason ban and reduced scholarships as a result of the investigation.
