Maryland linebacker Alex Wujciak was my midseason defensive MVP for the Terps, and he's continued to be a bright spot throughout the second half of the season. His 70-yard interception return for a touchdown tied the game at 14 and proved Russell Wilson isn't invincible. These are the kinds of game-changing plays Maryland has been lacking, and the kind that will make Wujciak a more complete player, not just a strong tackler.

According to Terps beat writer Patrick Stevens of the Washington Times, Wujciak's play snapped a streak of 41 straight games without a defensive touchdown. It had been the longest streak in the country.

It's only the first quarter, and I'd be surprised if Maryland got into a shootout with the Pack like FSU did last weekend. Though NC State turnovers will keep Maryland in the game.
