Miami had started to get some separation, but the Canes entered the locker room with a precarious 24-17 lead over Virginia.

Miami had a punt blocked that led to a touchdown, and an interception that led to good field position for Virginia. It's those little mistakes that add up to scary situations like the one the Canes were in last week at Wake Forest. Virginia's offense has been its problem all season, and today is no different, as UVA has just 92 total yards at the half compared with Miami's 232, but Virginia is an opportunistic team with a good defense.

I thought Miami would have come out looking more sharp after its scare in Winston-Salem, but the Canes are struggling to run the ball and have allowed this 3-6 Virginia team to hang around. The one thing Miami fans can exhale about? Jacory Harris' uncanny ability to make the big plays when it counts most. The one thing Miami fans should be worried about? Al Groh is coaching like his job is on the line.
