Duke quarterback Thaddeus Lewis finally ran into one of the nation's best defenses, and Ryan Houston finally got his opportunity to shine. Those two things added up to North Carolina's 19-6 win over the Blue Devils in Chapel Hill.

Duke finished with 125 total yards, and Lewis threw one interception and no touchdowns. Houston, who is usually the Heels' short-yardage back, finished with a career-high 37 carries and 164 yards -- more than Duke's entire offense was able to muster. Duke still needs two wins to become bowl eligible, while North Carolina got one step closer. The Tar Heels are now one win shy of bowl eligiblity. It's not going to be easy with Miami, Boston College and NC State still on the schedule, but if UNC's defense can shut down Thaddeus Lewis, they should have similar success against Jacory Harris, Russell Wilson and the Eagles.
