Georgia interested in VT's Foster

Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster has been contacted about the opening for the same position at Georgia, according to a report in the Daily Press. I haven't talked to Foster, but I'd be surprised if he left Virginia Tech for anything other than A) a significant raise or B) a head coaching job. The most logical scenario is that he uses another offer to get a raise at his current job. (As if $402,000 won't cut the living expenses in Blacksburg.)

It was just a week ago that Hokie Nation was worried Foster might wind up at Florida State. And a few weeks before that it was Virginia. Now it's Georgia. And odds are this one ends the same way -- no news is good news for Virginia Tech.
