It's amazing, really, when you consider just how much the Hurricanes are relying on this year's freshman class.
Seven true freshmen have scored a touchdown this season, easily the most in the country. Travis Benjamin is second on the team with four touchdowns and leads a group that includes Jacory Harris and Aldarius Johnson (2 touchdowns apiece) and Laron Byrd, Davon Johnson, Thearon Collier and Sean Spence.
No two programs in the country can combine to match that total. Check out this list of schools provided by Miami's sports information department with the highest number of freshmen who have scored at least one touchdown this season:
