FSU and UNC in BCS Standings

Georgia Tech's out, North Carolina is in.

No. 15 Florida State and No. 22 North Carolina are the league's lone representatives this week in the BCS standings. If there was any sense of certainty in the league standings, this might mean something, but because the teams keep trading places there, odds are they'll keep doing it in the BCS standings, too.

Florida State is in it for the second straight week, and if you don't look at anything beyond the BCS standings, it looks as if the Noles have put some distance between themselves and the rest of the ACC. But if you look a little closer, Maryland is right next to them. Just not in the BCS standings.
