North Carolina, NC State, Maryland and Virginia Tech each have bye weeks, and while the Terps will be paying particular attention to what's going on in Atlanta, UNC and Virginia Tech will be most interested in what unfolds in Charlottesville. The Wolfpack? They need to concentrate on themselves this week.

Here's a look at what's on tap in Week 10 in the ACC:

Miami (5-3) at Virginia (5-3) -- This one could have a trickle-down effect on several other teams in the Coastal Division, but Miami would do itself the biggest favor by knocking the Cavs off their perch. If they manage the road win, the Hurricanes will have an edge over everyone but Virginia Tech with just one Coastal Division loss. In order to do that, they'll have to slow tailback Cedric Peerman, who has surpassed 100 yards three times during the Cavs' current four-game winning streak.

Duke (4-3) at Wake Forest (4-3) -- This is not going to be an easy home win for the Deacs, who are still trying to figure out how to generate some offense without injured placekicker Sam Swank. He has now missed three games with a quadriceps injury. The Blue Devils could get back into the Coastal Division race with a win, and despite two straight losses, the Deacs are still only a game behind Maryland and Florida State. This game will feature two of the better quarterbacks in the league in Duke's Thaddeus Lewis and Wake's Riley Skinner.

Clemson (3-4) at Boston College (5-2) -- Interim coach Dabo Swinney will get his second chance at his first win as a head coach and had a bye week to prepare for the Eagles. C.J. Spiller is listed as questionable with a pulled hamstring he suffered against Wake Forest. While much of the attention has been on the Tigers' offense this season, the defense has been getting the job done. Clemson is holding opponents to 16.1 points per game. Meanwhile, the Eagles are just a game behind FSU and Maryland in the Atlantic Division and have something to play for besides pride.

Florida State (6-1) at Georgia Tech (6-2) -- It's the first time the programs have met since 2003, but the Yellow Jackets haven't beaten the Seminoles since Paul Johnson was a high school senior (seriously). Both teams are playing to become bowl eligible. Georgia Tech ranks ninth nationally in rushing offense (236.6 yards per game), while FSU is seventh nationally in rushing defense (79.9 yards per game). The Noles average 36.3 points per game, while the Yellow Jackets are holding opponents to 13.1 points.
