ATLANTA, Ga. -- Florida State appears to have the momentum, the playmakers, and something akin to home-field advantage. Florida State fans have almost completely taken over Bobby Dodd Stadium. It sounds like Doak Campbell in here.

Georgia Tech's defense is taking its time redeeming itself from last week's subpar performance against Virginia. Christian Ponder & Co. are moving the ball with ease, and Preston Parker (bruised thigh) and Antone Smith (bruised ribs) don't look like they're hurting one bit. The Yellow Jackets made some good stops near the goal line on the Noles' first possession, but it was too little too late.

The kick return game has been huge so far, with Georgia Tech's Roddy Jones escaping for 45 yards and Michael Ray Garvin running one back 64 yards. Both teams are getting good field position from their specialists.
