Georgia Tech A-back Roddy Jones will play baseball for the Jackets this spring, but he won't miss any spring football, a school spokesman confirmed today. Jones was drafted out of high school by the Chicago White Sox, so yeah, he's got some skills.

Apparently this is the trendy thing to do in the ACC. Clemson quarterback Kyle Parker, NC State quarterback Russell Wilson, and UNC quarterback Bryn Renner are also doubling up this spring. Wilson, though, is the only one who has been granted permission to play baseball full time.
