Glennon's borrowed jersey in good hands

It's still a mystery where Virginia Tech quarterback Sean Glennon's No. 7 jersey disappeared to last season on the Hokies' road trip to Georgia Tech.

"I'm sure it's hanging up in some kid's dorm room or fraternity somewhere," Glennon said. "It was really bizzare, playing against a team and you're wearing their jersey, especially since I looked at Georgia Tech pretty heavily. There was a point in time when I thought I might be wearing a Georgia Tech jersey. When I commited to Virginia Tech, I thought those days were over. It turned out it wasn't."

The jersey Glennon borrowed from the Yellow Jackets, though, is in good hands.

It was put on display in a Hall of Fame room at the Merriman Center.

The last time Glennon wore it, the Hokies won, 27-3.

This season, Georgia Tech will visit Blacksburg, Va. for the ACC season opener on Sept. 13. If anyone happens to need an extra jersey that day, the Hokies have them covered.
