Former Clemson running back C.J. Spiller checked in recently with 790 The Zone in Atlanta for an update on how his training for the NFL combine has been going.
Spiller hit on a variety of topics, including what a typical day getting ready for the combine and the draft has been like, training with players like Jimmy Clausen, Taylor Mays and Arrelious Benn, how important his 40-yard dash time is and where he thinks he might get drafted.
ESPN.com's John Clayton writes that the running backs will be one of the top five storylines to watch in this year's NFL draft. Spiller is expected to be the first running back drafted, and Scouts Inc. has him going at No. 11 overall. Mel Kiper had him at No. 13 in his latest mock draft.
