ACC players to represent at NFL combine

The annual NFL scouting combine begins today and runs through March 2. A total of 329 draft-eligible players were invited to the event, including 41 ACC players. Each school in the conference will have a representative.

The measurable workout drills include: 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, three-cone drill and shuttle run. There are also different drills for each position.

There is a lot of hype surrounding Clemson's C.J. Spiller, as he has been tabbed the top running back to watch. Here's a quick breakdown of the ACC's participants:

Activities for quarterbacks open on Thursday with pre-physical exams and x-rays as well as interviews with NFL team personnel. On Friday, the signal-callers will undergo measurements (height, weight, arms & hands), physical exams, the Wonderlic Test and continue interviews with NFL team personnel. A meeting with the NFL Players Association, along with additional time for the Wonderlic Test and team interviews, is scheduled for Saturday while Sunday features workouts that include the 40-yard dash, 3-cone drill, 20-yard and 60-yard shuttles, bench press, vertical jump and broad jump.
