UNC trails 17-7 at the half

By Heather Dinich

It's a miserable homecoming in Chapel Hill.

Unless, of course, you're a William & Mary fan.

The Tribe is up 17-7 on the Heels at the half, thanks to a fumble they recovered on a kickoff that they were able to convert into a field goal.

Former North Carolina backup quarterback Mike Paulus, who transferred to William & Mary, is having the game of his life. He's only thrown one incomplete pass (13 of 14) for 118 yards and two touchdowns. UNC quarterback T.J. Yates has no touchdowns and one interception.

This is a loss the ACC can't afford. It already met its FCS quota for the year.
