AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. -- The coaches have met with the athletic directors this morning, and are currently in a meeting about officiating. I'll have a few tidbits for you later, but it doesn't sound like there were any major requests from either party at the meeting with the ADs this morning.
In order to help with cost containment, the coaches recommended to cut their travel squad size to 72, which is the same number allowed for the ACC championship game. That's probably something the ADs will vote on Wednesday morning.
There are gusty winds and the sky looks ominous, so it's a day of all work and no play for everyone here. The coaches will leave quickly to catch flights home after their meetings wrap up around lunch.
