2011 ACC postseason top 25: No. 18
By ESPN.com staff
No. 18. Zebrie Sanders, OT, Florida State
2011 stats: Sanders led the team with 819 snaps and had a team-best 28 knockdown blocks, pushing his career total to 139, tops among all FSU linemen. He was penalized just eight times all season and allowed only two sacks after moving to left tackle to protect quarterback EJ Manuel's blindside over the final eight games.
Previous ranking: Not ranked.
Making the case for Sanders: Sanders has consistently graded out as one of the top offensive linemen at Florida State, and he has been one of the ACC’s most dependable veteran linemen with a team- and ACC-leading 50 career starts, including 36 consecutive games. He saved his best performance for his final game, a career-high grade of 94 percent in FSU’s 18-14 Champs Sports Bowl win over Notre Dame, when he started alongside four true freshmen up front. He had three knockdowns and did not have a missed assignment against the Fighting Irish.
