Jackets have best backfield in the ACC

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Sure, Virginia Tech running back Ryan Williams is good. He's another player in the ACC who should get some serious consideration next year in the Heisman race. But Georgia Tech's backfield is deeper. If the Jackets keep this up against Virginia, they could have three different backs with 100 yards each in this game. As I type, Jonathan Dwyer has 125. Anthony Allen has 91. And Josh Nesbitt has 71. Allen has been a great addition this year after sitting out last season per NCAA transfer rules. There are a lot of talented backs in the ACC, but as the season has progressed, it's clear Georgia Tech has most of them on its roster.
