ATLANTA, Ga. -- Georgia Tech is coming up big on third and fourth-downs, but like Michael Johnson said, it's also possible for the Yellow Jackets to beat themselves. They had the ball on Duke's eight-yard line when they fumbled it away.
Ball security is one thing Paul Johnson has preached since he arrived in Atlanta, and a lack of it will get you beat against anyone -- Duke included. The Blue Devils are holding their own up front against Tech's defensive line, and Thaddeus Lewis has had time to throw, albeit sometimes barely. They'll need to run the ball more, though, as the game progresses.
Johnson was also right on another point -- Jonathan Dwyer is a heck of a back, I don't care what offense he's playing in. Dwyer missed a few plays while he had to fix his contact lens, but this guy doesn't see anything but the end zone.
Injury note for the Yellow Jackets -- backup A-back Embry Peeples has suffered an ankle injury and is unlikely to return.
