ACC championship game an Instant Classic
By ESPN.com staff
ESPN has deemed this year's ACC championship game an Instant Classic, and it was.
It was the first time in the title game that neither team punted. There were a combined 73 points scored, the most the championship game has ever seen. It was the third-largest crowd since the inaugural game in 2005. And it was the first of any FBS games this year in which both teams racked up at least 300 rushing yards.
This game has be criticized in the past, but this year it wasn't warranted. It was an entertaining matchup that went back and forth for four quarters and featured some of the best talent in the nation.
If you missed it, the ACC championship game will be shown again on Wednesday on ESPNU from 10 p.m. to midnight.
