Incoming Miami freshman Keion Payne has been selected to USA football's Junior National team, the organization announced on Thursday. Payne joins ACC recruits Titus Till, Anthony Creecy, Tyler Smith, Steele Divitto, Zack McCray, and fellow Miami freshman Travis Williams.
Payne is a 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback from St. Thomas Aquinas High. ESPN.com's Scouts Inc. ranks him the No. 22 cornerback in his class and gave him three stars. Here's his bio from the official release:
Payne has the size to cover taller receivers. A physical corner with speed, Rivals.com ranks him as the No. 29-ranked corner in the nation with the fifth-best cover skills among cornerbacks.
