ACC: Josh Nebitt

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Just arrived at Georgia Tech after a quick meeting with Chick-fil-a Bowl president Gary Stokan, who said both Miami and Georgia Tech are on his short list. They can take the runner-up of the Orange Bowl, but they don't have to. The Yellow Jackets are still in contention to win the Coastal, but the players are realistic about their odds and know they're playing more for a better bowl game. Regardless, the Jackets need to win tonight.
Here are a few keys to the game:
1. Josh Nesbitt. The Yellow Jackets need him healthy and in the game in order to have a chance to win. There's still no update as to whether or not he'll start, but you'll get it as soon as I get it. Paul Johnson said Wednesday he expects Nesbitt to be healthy enough to play.
2. Defensive lines. They're both very good, but Georgia Tech's has not been playing up to its capability in recent weeks, and Miami's has. Whichever one can control the line of scrimmage should win.
3. Limit the playmakers. Miami needs to limit Jonathan Dwyer -- nobody is going to completely contain him -- and Georgia Tech needs to watch out for guys like Travis Benjamin, who can create a short field for Robert Marve. Johnson said his defense has given up too many big plays in their past two losses.
