This weekend, the NASCAR Chase hits the seven to go mark as they go racing in NASCAR's capitol of Charlotte. It's another race on a 1.5-mile track. Get used to it, because four of the final seven races of the season are on such tracks.
This is also the only true night race of the Chase, although others will bleed over into twilight. That makes this week's practice sessions a little trickier; because some of them took place in daylight conditions in which drivers won't actually be racing. So I'm really going to focus on the final practice session Friday, run entirely in the dark.
