The entertaining verbal feud between New York Jets coach Rex Ryan and Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder might be coming to an end.
It sounds like Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland is fed up with it, telling South Florida Sun-Sentinel reporter Mike Berardino "I'll deal with that myself."
Berardino caught up with Ireland before Wednesday night's baseball game between the Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals in Land Shark Stadium.
"It's about playing football. That's what I know," Ireland said of the Ryan-Crowder debate. "It's about playing football."
When asked whether the club has spoken to Crowder about not making a national scene, Ireland replied "That's a clubhouse thing. I'll deal with that myself."
