Patriots have a robust chance to be 7-1

11/4/2010

In the previous AccuScore report, I noted the New York Jets had the second-highest chance of victory Sunday.

Who has the best chance?

AccuScore's simulations give the New England Patriots a 72.7 percent chance to beat the Cleveland Browns on Lake Erie. The Patriots won by an average of nine points.

The most optimism AccuScore can find for the Browns is that if Peyton Hills runs for more than 100 yards and they intercept Tom Brady at least twice.

But the projection is for a solid Brady performance of two touchdowns and one interception. If Brady can refrain from throwing any interceptions, then the Patriots' chances climb to 82 percent.
