The Miami Dolphins' inability to score touchdowns led them to bench quarterback Chad Henne this week.

Some defenders put the blame on offensive coordinator Dan Henning's play calls, but ESPN Stats & Information suggests when given the opportunity to take a shot into the end zone, Henne's numbers were lacking.

Henne completed 3 of 15 throws into the end zone for 11 yards and one interception for a 51.4 passer rating.

Of the 20 quarterbacks with at least 15 attempts into the end zone, Henne ranked 19th in completion percentage, 20th in yards per attempt and 19th in passer rating.

Henne failed to connect on any of his six attempts to Brandon Marshall in the end zone.

In last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Henne made an awful point-blank throw into the end zone for tight end Anthony Fasano that floated incomplete, forcing the Dolphins to settle for a field goal.
