Buffalo Bills fans have had mixed emotions about whether they want their team to win.
Before opening day, most fans knew their team wouldn't compete for a playoff spot. When the Bills failed to win their first eight games, sentiment grew for the Bills to lose them all and procure the No. 1 pick in the upcoming draft so they could snag Stanford phenom Andrew Luck.
The Bills haven't complied with those wishes. They rung up their fourth victory in six weeks and their first over a team with a winning record when they outlasted the Miami Dolphins 17-14 on Sunday.
If the season ended today, ESPN Stats & Information notes that based on the records and strength-of-schedule tiebreakers, the Bills would have the sixth pick in April.
There's next to no chance Luck still will be around at No. 6, but with so many positional needs, the Bills might not be wrong if they don't draft another quarterback at all.
