AFC North blogger James Walker shares some interesting postseason incentive figures for a couple of quarterbacks headed to the playoffs.
New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez will make an extra $1.875 million if he wins the Super Bowl, according to the story. Sanchez will make an additional $250,000 for every playoff victory and the full sum if the Jets hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
Sanchez pocketed a similarly nice chunk for winning a pair of playoff games as a rookie last year. The Jets upset the Cincinnati Bengals and San Diego Chargers on the road before succumbing to the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship.
