ESPN's Ed Werder is reporting the Denver Broncos are on the lookout for signs of tampering by the New York Jets, who reportedly want to acquire suspended receiver Brandon Marshall.

Twice within the past two weeks, New York newspapers have reported the Jets want to obtain Marshall from the Broncos. Newsday columnist Bob Glauber wrote a story about it Wednesday. New York Daily News reporter Rich Cimini noted the Jets' interest in an article Aug. 18.

Marshall wants out of Denver and has been acting out lately. The Broncos have stated publicly they intend to keep him, even though they suspended him last week for insolence.

Sources told Werder the Broncos and Jets have not been in contact about Marshall, who had 104 receptions and 1,265 yards last year in 15 games.
