MIAMI, Fla. -- Dolphins starting quarterback Chad Henne will have corrective surgery Monday on his separated left shoulder, a source tells ESPN.com's AFC East blog.
The surgery on Henne's non-throwing shoulder is expected to keep him out several months. Henne, who is on injured reserve, will be a free agent in 2012.
Henne's future with the Dolphins is uncertain. Miami will go with backup Matt Moore the rest of the season and has a head coach -- Tony Sparano -- on the hot seat.
The winless Dolphins (0-4) are one of several teams with the inside track in the "Andrew Luck Sweepstakes." The highly touted Stanford quarterback is projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in next year's draft.
