Here are the most interesting stories Thursday morning in the AFC East:
Quarterbacks are having a lot of success against the New England Patriots' pass defense. Will the New York Giants' Eli Manning be next?
Morning take: Manning is quietly having one of his best seasons in New York. Much of his success this hinge on the success of No. 1 receiver Hakeem Nicks, who is dealing with a hamstring injury.
Injured Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey (neck) hopes to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Morning take: Miami needs a healthy Pouncey to be successful against Kansas City. Running the ball will be huge for the Dolphins to attempt to pull the upset. Pouncey is Miami’s best interior lineman.
ESPN's Stats & Information takes a look at the struggling New York Jets' run defense.
Morning take: Losing the point of attack has been on of their biggest issues. The Jets are allowing 126.9 yards rushing per game. But I expect this number to go down in the second half of the season.
Jets linebacker Bart Scott talks about the challenges of the Buffalo Bills' high-scoring offense.
Morning take: This will be a great chess match on Sunday. Both sides have a lot of talented players. We will have more on this matchup coming up next (hint, hint).
