This past Sunday Moore played perhaps the best game of his career in a 31-3 thrashing of the Kansas City Chiefs. It was the first win for Miami (1-7), and the performance was good enough to earn Moore AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors from the NFL on Wednesday.
Moore was very efficient. He was 17-of-23 for 244 yards and three touchdowns. Moore also had a stellar 147.5 passer rating and led the league in Total Quarterback Rating.
Moore isn't the long-term solution in Miami. But at least he's playing well enough to keep the Dolphins competitive. Miami will host former Dolphins quarterback John Beck and the Washington Redskins (3-5) this weekend at Sun Life Stadium.
