The injuries continue to pile up for the Buffalo Bills.
According to the Buffalo News, Bills leading receiver Steve Johnson sat out of practice Wednesday because of a shoulder injury he suffered in a recent loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Johnson is receiving treatment and his status is uncertain for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.
The Bills (5-4) need Johnson to play this week. Buffalo is in the middle of a two-game losing streak and the offense is averaging just nine points per game in that span. Johnson leads the Bills with 44 receptions for 531 yards and four touchdowns.
Miami is playing its best football of the season. The Dolphins (2-7) have won two straight and their defense hasn't allowed a touchdown in two weeks.
This is a big game for the Bills, whose playoffs hopes are fading. They are currently in third place in the AFC East.
