Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback Michael Vick could be picking a bad time to return. Vick, who is coming off a significant rib injury, said that he plans to play this weekend against the Miami Dolphins.
Miami's defense has been lights out lately. The Dolphins have allowed just 8.8 points per game the past five contests. They rank 15th in the NFL, but that's only because of Miami’s horrendous 0-7 start.
The Dolphins are a big, physical group up front. They held the Oakland Raiders to just 46 rushing yards this past Sunday. Vick also needs to be cautious of scrambling after breaking his ribs this season.
Vick's return is as close to the "Dream Team" Eagles as you will see the rest of this season. Philadelphia has been a monumental flop this year. But having its starting quarterback back in the lineup certainly adds spice to this matchup of 4-8 teams.
