Here are some quick news and notes Wednesday on the Miami Dolphins' coaching search:
  • The Dolphins announced that they completed an interview with Chicago Bears special teams coach Dave Toub on Wednesday. Toub is the third coach to interview for Miami's opening, joining Jeff Fisher and interim Dolphins coach Todd Bowles.
  • Also, The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins are willing to pay top dollar for Fisher if they're involved in a bidding war. Money may be the best trump card Miami has in trying to land Fisher. The St. Louis Rams reportedly are very interested and could give Fisher the type of organizational setup he's looking for. Miami already has general manager Jeff Ireland in place. It is unknown how Fisher feels about working with Ireland. But any coach would prefer a clean slate and the ability to work with a familiar general manager. That surely was discussed during Fisher's interview on Tuesday.
