Early forecasts project the weather Sunday to be in the high-30s to low-40s, with a 30-percent chance of rain. That's not bad compared to some recent playoff games we've seen in Foxborough, Mass. Many involved snow. This weekend there's a 70-percent chance that it won't even rain.
Most of all I think this benefits the Patriots' offense. They want to pass the ball with sizzling quarterback Tom Brady. Without snow or rain last week, Brady tied an NFL playoff record with six touchdown passes against the Denver Broncos.
We will keep you updated on the forecast later in the week if anything changes closer to game time.
