Pennington, Wilfork top AFC East injury rundown

A rundown of Sunday's notable injuries in the AFC East:
- The Miami Dolphins lost quarterback Chad Pennington in the third quarter with a right shoulder injury. Outside linebacker Joey Porter finished the game on the sideline with a bum hamstring.
- New England Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork left in the second quarter of a 26-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons with an apparent left ankle injury. Also knocked out of the game were running back Laurence Maroney and defensive lineman Mike Wright. Patriots coach Bill Belichick offered no updates afterward, ESPNBoston's Mike Reiss reports.
- Buffalo Bills coach Dick Jauron rattled off a list of injuries from a 27-7 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Left tackle Demetrius Bell (groin), cornerback Leodis McKelvin (fibula) and safeties Donte Whitner (thumb) and Bryan Scott (ankle) all got hurt during the game. Jauron always is good with update their statuses Monday.
