INDIANAPOLIS -- Buffalo Bills No. 1 receiver and pending free agent Steve Johnson played against both Super Bowl teams three times this season. He knows the New England Patriots and New York Giants well.
But when put on the spot by ESPN's Prim Siripipat to make a Super Bowl prediction, Johnson stayed in state and went against his AFC East rivals.
"I like both teams. I got respect for both teams. I played both of them," Johnson explained. "But I'm going to go with the Giants just because they fought their way to get here. They had to grind to get to the Super Bowl, and I respect that grind. So I'm going to ride with the New York Giants."
Johnson and the Bills were 1-2 against the Patriots and Giants this season. Buffalo beat the Patriots, 34-31, in Week 3 at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
