Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday morning in the AFC East:
  • Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kevin Boss thinks his paring with teammate Tony Moeaki can be the next Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez in 2012.
Morning take: I seriously doubt it. "Gronk" and Hernandez are two of the top five tight ends in the NFL. Neither Boss nor Moeaki are even in my top 10. Second, Matt Cassel is the quarterback in Kansas City, not future Hall of Famer Tom Brady.
  • Which first-year offensive coordinator will have a bigger impact: Tony Sparano of the New York Jets or Josh McDaniels of New England.
Morning take: You have to go with McDaniels because he has the better players. When you have Tom Brady at quarterback, it’s pretty hard to struggle on offense.
Morning take: I don’t think that will be an issue. Miami is going in with Matt Moore and David Garrard as the projected favorites. I would be surprised if Tannehill is strongly considered for Week 1.
Morning take: Buffalo hopes Graham, a third-round pick, will push for the No. 2 receiver role. Graham will have to beat out several veterans, such as Donald Jones and Marcus Easley.
