Here are the most interesting stories Friday morning in the AFC East:
Should the Miami Dolphins consider free-agent receiver Chad Ochocinco?
Morning take: Yes, it should be considered. But the Dolphins are running a West Coast offense under a new coach trying to establish his program. I’m not sure it’s a great fit for those reasons.
Buffalo Bills receiver Marcus Easley is doing well in offseason workouts.
Morning take: Easley is a sleeper pick to win the No. 2 receiver job. He hasn’t been able to stay healthy and has a lot to prove in that area.
Both New York Jets quarterbacks struggled in organized team activities Thursday.
Morning take: It’s going to go back and forth for the offense and both quarterbacks. This is the time to learn and make your mistakes. So there shouldn’t be a concern.
New England Patriots receiver Jabar Gaffney says he is where he wants to be.
Morning take: Gaffney is a good fit in New England and probably should have never left. He is one of Tom Brady’s favorite receivers and that carries a lot of weight.
