This upcoming week should be one of the best this summer in the AFC East blog. We will take our show on the road to visit not one, but two mandatory minicamps in the division.

We will begin our road trip Tuesday as the always-interesting New York Jets open proceedings. The AFC East blog wants to check out quarterbacks Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow and Co. close up to see if this team is ready for a bounce-back season. We also want to check out high-profile rookies Quinton Coples and Stephen Hill to see if they’re ready to produce right away.

On Wednesday we travel to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., to get a good look at the reigning AFC champion New England Patriots. Will New England’s offensive juggernaut continue? Has the defense improved?

There are plenty of things I have my eye on at Jets and Patriots minicamps, and plenty of reasons this week for you to check out the AFC East blog.
