- Patriots receiver Wes Welker says he is happy teammate Rob Gronkowski got a six-year contract extension.
- Receiver Chad Ochocinco signed a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins for the veteran minimum of $925,000.
- Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson (groin) is closer to returning to the practice field.
