Here are the most interesting stories Friday morning in the AFC East: Morning take: That's a strong statement, because the team rarely fills the Sun Life Stadium during home games. The Dolphins most likely plan to buy their own tickets, which isn't a good business model but at least ensures they will be seen on local television.
Morning take: Both sides are talking this week, which is a good sign. But the team and Welker must close the gap before Monday's 4 p.m. deadline. It will come down to the wire -- one way or the other.
  • How will the Buffalo Bills better use running backs Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller?
Morning take: Bills coach Chan Gailey must do a better job in this department. Buffalo has two dynamic talents at tailback and needs to make sure both are happy and productive.
  • How much is New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow needed on the field?
Morning take: In a backup role playing the Wildcat, Tebow will be fine and in his element. I think the worries begin if starting quarterback Mark Sanchez struggles and Tebow is asked to be the full-time starter.
