Here are the most interesting stories Friday morning in the AFC East:
  • Click here to take a sneak peak at the HBO "Hard Knocks" trailer on the Miami Dolphins.
Morning take: HBO does a stellar job, and I will be watching the show this summer. The three-way quarterback competition and Chad Ochocinco are enough reasons to tune in.
Morning take: This is one of the interesting quarterback battles in the AFC East. You have a big name against someone who has been in the system before. This could come down to all four preseason games.
  • New England Patriots rookie receiver Jeremy Ebert was one of four rookies who reportedly failed his physical with a leg injury.
Morning take: Ebert will begin the year on the Active/Pup List. New England’s receiver position is deep, and Ebert's slim chances just became slimmer.
Morning take: Three teams from the AFC East won’t make it. So it will come down to the Bills and Jets fighting for the wild card. New York needs its quarterback, Mark Sanchez, to have a bounce-back year to have a chance.
