Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday morning in the AFC East:
Left tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson says the New York Jets have "greatness" written all over them.
Morning take: Sloooow down, Brick. This is shades of the old Jets. Maybe Ferguson didn’t get the memo that New York is taking a more low-key approach.
New England Patriots signed veteran tight end Visanthe Shiancoe to a one-year contract.
Morning take: The Patriots continue to add tight-end talent. Shiancoe will compete with Daniel Fells for the third tight end spot, and I’m picking Shiancoe.
Does Miami Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore deserve the benefit of the doubt?
Morning take: Moore won six games last year. But with a new offense and a new coaching staff, Moore has to prove himself all over again. That’s life in the NFL.
Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Torrell Troup is full go after back surgery.
Morning take: Troup was on our "Bust Watch" segment Tuesday. The former second-round pick has to prove himself in a big third year in 2012.
