The New England Patriots had two first-round picks that produced. Rookie linebacker Dont'a Hightower and defensive end Chandler Jones combined for six tackles and one quarterback hit.

Defensive end Quinton Coples also had a monster debut five tackles and a sack for the New York Jets. Coples is expected to be a Day 1 starter and showed why.

Finally, Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill took a huge step in the right direction. He completed 14 of 21 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Was Tannehill the most impressive rookie?
