Here are the most interesting stories Thursday in the AFC East:
New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott says Mark Sanchez can develop into a top-10 quarterback in his fourth season.
Morning take: Sanchez is not a top-10 quarterback. But it doesn't mean he can't have the best, most efficient year now that the pressure is on. This will be a big season to determine if we've seen the best of Sanchez already.
Where does the New England Patriots' offense rank in the NFL.
Morning take: It's an elite offense right up there with the Green Bay Packers. If the Patriots continue to get their running game going with Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen, it could be No. 1.
The Miami Dolphins are still undecided on who will start at quarterback Friday against the Carolina Panthers.
Morning take: Start the kid (Ryan Tannehill) and never look back, Dolphins. Just do it.
Is Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver T.J. Graham more than speed?
Morning take: I liked what I saw from Graham in training camp. He's a little bigger than I expected and ran routes fairly well. The Bills are hoping for consistency, and that's the most difficult thing to ask from a rookie.
